24 Hour Cancellation and No Show Policy
Dear Guests,
At Q Hairdressing Salon in West Malling, Kent, your appointments are very important to us. Prior to each appointment, careful time and preparation is often needed by our team members, in order to give you the best possible service. We take your appointment as a verbal contract and it is reserved especially for you.
We have tried to avoid implementing a 24 hour cancellation policy. Unfortunately, with increasing late appointment cancellations and no shows by clients, we have been left with no other option.
We understand that sometimes it is necessary to reschedule or cancel appointments, or even worse, forget! – we all get busy with day to day life.
Please understand that when you forget about or cancel or reschedule your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time. Our stylists are self employed and the missed appointments really have an impact on their income.
Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance by text message because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago!
Cancellation Fees
Since our services are reserved for you personally, the following cancellation charges will apply:
If you reschedule or cancel your appointment within 24 hours there will be no charge for the first occasion.
Following a second cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice then a 50% deposit will be required for future bookings.
An unattended appointment will be classed as a ‘no show’ and a 50% deposit will be required for future bookings.
Late Arrival Fees & Conditions
Please be aware that if you are unable to attend your appointment on time, you may have to wait for the next available stylist – the charge for the original stylist you booked in with will still apply.
The cancellation policy gives us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability and keeps our team members’ schedules filled. Our aim is to provide you with an excellent level of service and our policies help us to achieve this.
